The word on the street says that the R2B upgrade will be avaible 20020304 YYYYMMDD
That would be the MMS upgrade with picture phonebook and some other cool stuff

the point for the new software is not for games or other, when new phones are relesed there are a few problems, the new software was relesed due to problems and the phones been returned, we are now flashing lots of T68 with the new software and i have not yet had a phone come in with with the new software and have a fault.

I have sw version R2B013 and it has no MMS stuff going on. It has a new game though (Naval Fleet)but I find the textwriting with T9 still very slow compared to my old Nokia 6210. Hopefully they will work this out shortly. The MMS supported SW version is supposedly the R3A due for release in june or something.

Those last two is what I wonder about. Does it mean that i still have R1A sw in my phone even though I have upgraded it? What does MS and TAE stand for? Can I update this sw too?
I'd do anything for a faster T9 input...

There is a service centre here in the US... they were Located in Minnesota!... you have to call 1-800-ERICSSON and they will give you a case number they you will call again the repair center... and it's not a toll free!...

That's not true. I got mine upgraded through them. I called 1-800-ERICSSON and they did everything, gave me case number, address to send to, all information necessary. no need to call repair center.
