I've seen this floating around for a while but what exactly is "seamless transition" does it mean it doesnt drop your call when changing between 3G down to 2G?

Incidentally my friend has a Nokia 6630 is there anyway to lock it off 3G to prvent bad signal reception in out area?

Thanks

I thought when u go out of a 3g area it changes automaticly to 2g or 2.5g.
Thats wat happens on my 7600.

Thats because '3' are a pile of $h!T
The 'real' networks won't/don't have that problem.

Right when your in a 3g area and you make a VIDEO call when you move out of a 3g area into a 2.5g area will drop ALL THE CALL, but if you make a voice call in a 3g area then move into a 2.5g area it will auto change and the VOICE CALL Will stay live...and vice versa VOICE CALL in a 2.5g area into a 3g area all that will happen is you will be able to make a video call etc....

Also with 3g browsing, when you move into a 2.5g area all that happens is the download rate changes automatically as well...
