Hi Carkitter! Glad to see you still pop back from time to time. Let's have a conversation where the replies are months apart!

Err... how about years apart?
Are you still in Auckland? I'm sure you've finished your study now.
How are you liking the current cost of rent / house prices in the 09? Driving you to despair like everybody else?

How are you finding the SP?

SP is still going strong. Kit laggy on the current firmware but with comparatively low RAM... whad'ya gunna do?

I kept going with the Xperia SP as long as I could but alas, my online banking app expired so I had to update to a newer version of Android. Just bought a Huawei Y7 locked to Vodafone NZ from the Warehouse for $249 which I think is an outstanding deal. It's nice to use, fast and responsive and cheap considering my personal phone takes a back seat to my work phone which is a Samsung J5 Prime (ugh!).

Hi everyone! I am new to this place and I need some urgent help. So, the thing is, I had some unexpected expenses and ran out of money so now I can't pay my bills. And taking a payday loan like https://paydaygorilla.com/nz/ seems to be the only option at this point. But as far as I know, some people have a really negative approach to this kind of loans. The main reason is a high interest rate but I am ok with that because I know that I'll pay the money back in a few days, right after I get my salary. But are there any other reasons that I should consider before I take such a loan in New Zealand?

In my 11 month stay here in New Zealand. I've met a lot of people from different races, with different faces, coming from different places and they we're all very nice to me except for Indians. Islanders think of Filipinos as a brother nation, Kiwis say that they love the Filipino's fun and friendly nature. Chinese people think of us as comrades. But, I've met a lot of Indians as well and they all either gave me cold shoulders or just blatantly stereotype us as being filthy or coming from a third world country. I don't really mind that as it is true I come from a country that is actually third world and compared to New Zealand it is quite dirty and polluted (the cities). So, I just want to know what you guys think of us Filipinos. Use the power of anonymity to your advantage and speak your mind and let me know what you guys think of us. I just want to be a better soon to be Citizen here in New Zealand.
