Maybe Sony would like to "re-create" it's own brand.

The build quality of the Ericssons was way better than SE's. They always used better materials, not the squeaky plastics in today's SEs. Sony is only after the profit and using low-cost materials, but I agree lots of customers buy the phones trusting the Sony brand.

, then sony will have their phones, as will ericsson. sony will probobly stick with walkman phones, and ericsson will focus more on features.
