As I said before this is a mock-up, it isn't an official SE design. Such mock-ups can be interesting to give one an idea of what a product might look like, but one shouldn't get to up in arms if one doesn't like the design.

I guess I was being a bit pedantic about the whole thing, but I didn't know about the real source to be hoest. I got it off UCSE so thats it I guess. I do though believe that there is going to be a non-3G version though. And it did look much better in white.
