Or perhaps Sony Ericsson is targeting the US market where 3G is severely lacking, limited to Cingular's network which utilizes bandwidth that is incompatible with the rest of the world. Perhaps this will be the M6XXa?
I would replace the words "Sony Ericsson" in the quote above to read "USA". Hence the much coveted iPhone will be launched with EDGE only.

design is ok, silver and the green is fine. backside isn't that pretty and why the extra name tag?
i know many of you need 3G, but some don't, EDGE is availeble in more countries and cheaper. and maby it will have 3G, just not a 3G cam.

EDGE is useless in my country, almost none of providers here apllying EDGE, they're just jumped from GPRS to 3G.

IMO m600 has 3G
but maybe what they thought were that there no front cam so no 3G
but it should have 3G if not hsdpa
