...and if the P900 successor is announced there will prob be the usual complaints about the P900 being out of date "already"...

announcements today already... 2 notable ones
Sony Ericsson and Sony Music Entertainment to deliver mobile ringtone service
Sony Ericsson and Sony Music Entertainment today announced a strategic global agreement to deliver an appealing, easy-to-use Top 10 polyphonic ringtone service for consumers. This month the first Top 10 ringtone service, called Pre-play, will be launched in Sweden for the popular T630 phone, and the service is then set for a global roll-out.

Sony Ericsson and RIM announce BlackBerry connectivity support in P900 smartphone
Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications and Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM) today announced their plans to enable BlackBerry® connectivity on Sony Ericsson mobile phones. The first product to feature BlackBerry services will be the P900 Symbian OS smartphone later this year.
That second one is interesting since it only talks about connectivity in the P900 later this year, maybe suggesting no new P900 successor?
and I have been wondering about how long it would be before Sony music somehow played a part in the provision Sony Ericsson content

well the P900 is still soo new it would make sense to 'exploit' it a bit before releasing the next P model

well....... aside from the phones i would imagine you need a type of network for it, wouldn't you?
something we do not have..... which would turn it into a sort of walkie talkie thingy, short range only..... not something I am waiting for
