I read that the k700 is not the t610/t630 successor.
So maybe there is a t650 coming our way,with the specs you mentioned in the 1st post

t610>>t630>>t650?>>t670??>>t690???

Just a thought

@boyi i think i might hold out for the t710 it looks a real winner everything i have ever wanted plus you can attach a footspa to it which works of the phone vibrator
actually i might patent that idea myself it could be a winner

z700= clamshell version of T650 with 96*64 65k sub lcd (3RD Q)

There is already a Z700, so it can't be that name. So maybe Z650? If it's true, I would be very happy about it, 'cos I like clamshells and there are rumours that Orange SK will launch EDGE in Q3 '04.

Hmm, I think it's very strange that would show two phones that will be relesed in Q4 and Q2 only to then show a lot more phones that will come in Q2. If they show more phones to come this year (and they will) I think that the phones will come in Q3. But when would they show them? Cebit? I donät think so since they showed the two 700 just before. And if they show more phones during june I think that it's likely they will be relesed in Q3. But we'll see...

Here is what i think..

The K700 does look to me that it is more middle end phone rather than a high end like the t610 was last year. It only maks sense that SE wanted to quickly release an advanced mid-end pone like the k700 asap and delay a little the release of its high end "t650"

Look at the s65... is the k700 really SE's answer to that phone? I doubt it that's why i am pretty sure that SE have got a phone up their sleeve...
The K700 does not break new ground from the t610, its merely an update a facelift etc... real innovation in the footsteps of the t68 and t610 has to be expected in another model

I would have thought (and hope) that there is a candy bar version of the s700 , as i would prefer something more restrained. This message was posted from a T68i

i guess se thinks that the s700 is the competion to the S65 - cause this one is really innovativ [great screen, great cam, ms duo, swivel, alu look, flash], even thought its already out in japan,
yeah sure when open the s700 it's huge and thick, but it is still innovativ

se can sell the k700 cheaper than siemens the S65 because of the cam and se will sell their K700 before siemens sells their S65, that are two advantages that can make up how the future of bove phones will go ... but still we don't know all the facts of the S65

Personally I think that the CX65 is the "competition" of the Siemens K700, the S65 for the T650 and the SX2 (also swivel) for the S700. I think SE wins in all categories. It all depends on when they come out, cause I might go for the S65.
