It was a theory. But given enough time I'm sure there will be a Sirf IV and later Sirf V and so on.
You name it, speed, accuracy, battery life, size... it will be better, perhaps even an efficient solar cell so it never runs out of juice.

@ PK, could you confirm which exterior parts of the P700 is actually metal? Is it just the front silver part? Or the whole phone's silver pieces?
My P910a have severe paint chips on the silver plastic parts (basically the whole phone), so I really hope the P700 to have more metal parts.

The frontfacia is made of extruded aluminium. The silver on the is silver painted plastic. Since most of the edges on the back are rounded, I don't think they will chip very easily (unless you drop the phone of course)
