The n95 has better specs and is at 750$ right now means 550 euros,so if the P700 will be released in july at 500 euros it will be even more expensive than the n95 because till then the price will decrease for sure from 550 to 450...

better specs...yeah, gps maybe...5mp not really a great advantage IMHO. But the P700 trashes the n95 in RAM (it has 2x), and this is very important in terms of overall performance...this should not forgoten in the cost of the device

Surely the R1 indicates its on 9.2 or 9.3?

Especially as the Phone version doesnt seem to have changed!

Yes youre right. There's no point owning the latest phone when inside is a crappy firmware that will just make you crazy and post lots of complaints in esato because you dont know what to do with your brand new/latest fresh from the box crappy phone. LOL

whats so special with the n95 phone. the only reason i can think of for a person to buy this is that he just wants to be seen using the latest phone. these pepole must be very rich to own one or maybe others pretending to be. im sure after 1 month they will be bored looking at it because thats the only thing they can do with that phone. looking at it.

The N95 has a lots of features for people who want them. GPS, Wi-Fi and a 5MP camera. Many people don't use all these and probably just want the phone to show off but that doesn't mean that the phone is bad.

why ppl already compare this with N95??

I though should be E61i, both have qwerty or qwerty like keyboard and target for pushmail users, and both upgraded with camera.

Here is my little comparison for E61i & P700
GPS: No, No
HSDPA: No, No
3G: Yes, Yes
Camera: 2Mpx, 3Mpx
Wifi: Yes, Yes (b/g for both??)
Touch Screen: No, Yes
Screen Size: 2.8", 2.6"
FM Radio: No, Yes

that seems like a narrow minded view from someone who has not spent much time (if any) using the N95. It also almost feels like you are trying to offend N95 users in some way...

Anyway, the N95 has alot to offer and is fast becoming my number 1 phone relegating the M600 to second spot.

That may well change for me when this P700 finally becomes available and I get my hands on it, but it seems we are months away from that and N95 is available NOW... and thats a big difference to people who want these features NOW

I would expect P700 to be fairly stable on launch given its breeding from M600/P990

@s-moto, agreed, and a good comparison there, but unfortunately N95 seems to be the flavour of the month and E61 size (its more comparable with P990 size-wise) puts some people off I think
