There is most defenitely going to be a K750 update, but i doubt an S700 update. The P990 is a good high end phone but too big for me.

As I have said in the other threads: it's time to put GSM 850/900/1800/1900 + 3G in one phone. At least for the high end phones.

At the moment we have to choose either quad-band GSM or tri-band GSM + 3G. Nokia has started to solve this problem and will soon launch world first "five"-band phones N80 and E61. I hope that Sony Ericsson will be the next one.

@axxxr, didnt SE retire the T series?

I think it is somehow continued in the K series.

This year there will most probably be higher resolution camera versions of current models perhaps (i hope) with optical zoom; smaller (maybe thinner) P series; larger screen K or W models; models with microdrives; etc.

i belive t610's real successor is yet to come. every candybar se phone after it have been targeted to the youth market. t610 was fashion/business. perhaps this year(or next) se may release a very stylish phone(fashion), multimedia(up to date, hd perhaps) and symbian os(business). that's pure speculation but it makes sense and it'd be a big hit.

if u ask me,il say d influx of compressing these techs into phones is way too fast..phones launched two months ago is already made obsolete(?) by new ones, mobile techs outclassing all other gadgets..soon there'll be no unique designs or tech..at least thats what i think. What no more S? How pooh is that? I can understand why SE wants to sew up the musicphone market at the moment but there must be more imaging phones on the way. SE and Sharp are collaborating on new hardware for future development. @SloopjohnB. I like your thinking on a new T series. ;-) I don't think the T morphed into the K as a T was released recently wasn't it? There is still a lot for SE to contend with out there. Sliders, a la Samsung. Fashion as in the RAZR. Small smartphones etc This message was posted from a S700
