The good thing about their merge with Sony is that they manage to incorporate the Sony technologies on the fones: walkman, camera . . . perhaps the TV-tech too in the future. How about Ericsson merging with Sony's counterparts, say, like - JVC/Sharp/Sanyo or even with Black and Decker! Have you seen a fone with cutting tools on it, like that of a Swiss Knife?

for me it would be a dream come true.
ericsson has got much more potential.
they can always buy rights to use the name sony (like benq siemens) or the walkman name.
and for once we would finaly see inovation!
