I doubt the screen will be a problem,if the hardware is the same and the only differance is the display.....Which is the same size,maybe we'll be able to buy a replacement P810/900 screen and put it in the P800!

for more details) it is in fact the controller, that is on the main PCB of the phone, and will in fact not support the 16,000 colour screen. over on another forum this is related to a question asked by n00bs all the time e.g. "will i be able to use this screen off this laptop i have to put in a photo frame etc?" well the answer we give to that is...
The screen itself is extremely cheap-- you can buy yourself a 12" screen for about £20. The problem lies with the controller card for the screen which is itslef extremeley expensive and, thusly, the screen cannot work without its own unique controller card which is often incorproated into the PCB of the device in question (e.g. the p800)

loll again i hear about the screen the screen is the same the gf chip is other as the man said the gf is in the board so no 65k for p800 i hope you get it this time.there is not such think as a 4096 screen only the inside GF chips are capable of more or less colour.

I dunno about you guys but when I look at pics and images on a 65k screen and a 4k screen there isnt that much of a difference at all, I think a debate over how much nicer the screen will look when it is the same size and the same resolution is pointless, we have compared the p800 to other pda and pda/phones with 65k screens and what was the result??? not a heck of alot of difference right? Oh well...
