As long as there will be a phone with MP3 player capabilities and the size of the T610 announced at Cebit, I'm happy with that.

same with me, but maybe i'll over think this, because the psp is also small and it can even play 16:8 movies and normal music - but this would mean 2 devices to buy and to carry...
i thought about this T630 update, remember, the ST50 is built on the same platform as the T610 and the ST60 also - so maybe this update of the T630 will be a T630 with video recording, thats also why they put more memory into it

I'd like to see 's answer to Nokia 6230... deuxani has pretty much summed it up... a T610/T630/Z600 like phone with built-in mp3 player and MSDuo support.

I'd like to see it with a stronger processor and more memory.. like heaps more memory!.. i mean like gig's baby! I mean you'll need it for the video recording and high res camera.. maybe a little thinner aswell.

What would top the lot would be PSP integrated!

I think we are looking at a bar gsm version of the z1010. And a 3g version of the t650 on the lines of the t1000. Or maybe not This message was posted from a T610

This sucks.

T650 = T630 + Minor Changes
T630 = T610 + Minor Changes
T610 = New Idea

WTF, When will SE come up with a totally new phone, like the P series, and the Z and the T6,

Sad really, you know ericsson are controlling the business, when no new changes are made,

T18 T28 ETC

I disagree.

SE are finally getting back marketshare with the new strategy of releasing different variations on the same handset, which is exactly what Nokia have been doing for years so well done to them.

I think the T650 will be pretty good, I'm happy with my T610 for now though.

Just picked us the car phone warehouse booklet up and there is a picture of the so505i in there with the word future go cold letters and a short description about it. Do the know something we only guessed about. Will a future se phone in this country be based on this platform. Lets hope it will be the t650 This message was posted from a T610

I disagree to U disagreeing,
Because Nokia, would release one newer variation,

7250 - 7250i

But they would also Introduce totally new variations of specs with minor style changes or major style changes.

In this case all SE are doing, is releaseing minor improvements which could have been done with and upgrade and a cover change,

I understand thew T630 has a different screen, but it was not worth the instant release, they couldve waited for thr T650 and introduce a s**tload of new specs.

But you have to understand that the T610 sold as warm pie. SE couldn't deliver enough phones for the market. That's why they delayed the introduction of T630, because people wanted the T610 badly. When they did introduce the T630, it also sold as warm pie and SE could not deliver enough here either.
So from a markeeting point SE have learnt something from history.

It should also be mentioned that SE didn't get enough parts to assemble the phones, and that's why they couldn't ship as many phones as they wanted.
