I really want to get this 6630, I've had a go and the camera is exceptional, way better than when I played with the S700!

Also the fact that it is an MMC phone, means more than 128mb, and since you can already buy 512mb MMC's they say soon there will be 1GB ones, this is also symbian.

Overall this is a great phone, and I am definitely looking to buy one as soon as possible, way over the S700, and after the K700i I have been put off SE quite a bit, Its a good phone, but the battery ruins it.

Thanks, Charlie.

Just wanted to correct a few things.

It has 10mb on board memory.
It uses DV-RSMMC meaning that the RSMMC you bought for you7610probably wont work with the phone.
I plugged my 256 mb to find that out the hard way.

Its not another format, its just an updated rsmmc that uses less power aparantly.

Look out for my review in 1-2 days.

Hi i think i should ad some thig as well, I just got one on vodafone Uk

Only thing i would say that you may not be able to play videos
at 300kbps with 20fps on S700i. You can with 6630, i have S700i as well as P910i. I would say its a really good handset from nokia. 220 Mhz processor handels multimedia really well. Downloading is fast enough with vodafone 3G.

Best regards.

The Vodafone models are locked so you can't add anyseries 60 apps to it and mp3 ringtones don't work.

Will need to be unlocked and flashed, or get it on another network.

you can add applications to the phone on vodafone, Go to the app manager, open settings, there is a menu for installation, move it from off to on. Simple.

Worked when I did it for a friend anyway.

The camera quality looks brilliant, I am a bit confused about this memory card, I have found a website that is selling 512mb RS-MMC's and in the list of supported phones is the 6630, but it mentions nothing of the Dual Voltage???

I will post a link when I get back to my own computer!

I think this is a good phone, especially the cam, and the size is great for it considering its cam, 3G etc, and the symbian is good!

Thanks, Charlie.

I have the nokia 6630 and the S700i they are both good phones... They have advantages and disadvantages!!!!

Nokia 6630 is better then the 7610 and 6670, its much faster then them. The menu is quick. The cam is of good quality, not as many settings available when taking the pic!!!

Anyone here been able to unlcok their phone and also anyone using the 3 network??? If so does anyone have any information on this please.

Cheers

just to address a few issues from above...personally, video calling is a gimmick...we (cpw the company) did a survey a few weeks back about this, and there were alot of people who said they weren't bothered about it, so id say nokia were right..you don't buy a 3G phone primarily for video calls..period...2nd point...the issues that russ raised regarding the phone, are not apparent on the handset i have...i have the latest agile messenger and opera, plus netfront 3.2. and i can leave agile messenger open, while using opera or netfront...my handset is sim free, and im using a normal 02 sim card...and i got to say, for some reason, when im using gprs, its much much faster than my previous phones...the 610, 6600, p900...absolutely amazing...i know the processor is a 220mhz chip, but still..its like lightening...amazing...
