Well, I can barely understand this message, all I can get from this is that ifa phones will be the regular (not premium, so not a successor) and it will only improve something from 1 which I believe will be either design or camera.

Also 5k one is not related to 1, but a new series? Like foldable? Or 5g?
What's lover 3000 sounds like a sex bot

for "3000", you will understand if you watched Avengers 4 or anything related to it

for other stuff i dont remember anymore

Errr.....Who am I?

Let's suppose Sony Imaging creates a WRGB sensor for Xperia.
Let's suppose it has 48MP.
12W + 12R + 12G + 12B.
All them at least 1,10 micron.
Would be enough to replace mono/Aube?

Gsmarena posted a Samsung 64mp sensor, this to me proves there is a 66mp from Sony. The imx600 diagram showed 50% white. The Bayer filter does not have rgb for every pixel.

Is QuadBayer useful at all?
If so, does it really increase quality a lot?

According to all I know:

Let's say a Quadbayer sensor after binning has 12MP/1.22 micron.
Sony says it can perform better than a native 12MP/1.22m sensor.
There are photographers that doubt it.

But it wont give you more details than a 12MP sensor.
It is not downsampling that keeps quality but smaller file.
Like Z3 ..

Since Huawei uses them and they come at top on dxo lists, there's a general belief that it comes from quad Bayer. But it also has a very large sensor and now ois. Also Pixel 3, iPhone Xs, galaxy S10 don't have quad Bayer but have great DR. So if Sony can deliver good dynamic range without one it's awesome. It's just easier for a qbayer to output better dr at the one frame.

Curved sensors will be a greater leap forward imo. Any news on that?

I agree with PPl.
Samsung copied imx400, then copied imx586.
So this isocell must be the copy of 666.
I hope it's not Quadbayer.
I want wrgb with option to downsample to 16 or 20.

speaking of dxomark, you cant just look at the big score
Look at zoom and bokeh, it is a score that a phone having more lens to get extra score, nothing to do with the actual image quality
there's only exposure, color, autofocus, texture, noise and artifacts score should count in it.

one more reason for Huawei got high score, it is not because of Quadbayer, it is because of its big CMOS
