finger. you sort of press the whole area and really just get used to it. when it was new they keys were really difficult to press but i guess ive broken it in already.
granted, i have average-sized fingers. here's a shot of my hand with a N1100-

But its so soft imo, got used to feel the keys at touching those. I like when the keys almost push my fingers at usage.
