we can safely claim that Nokia have re-invented digital photography!!

Sorry, but the word re-invented is trademarked by Apple

I forgot one important highlight:

There are three camera modes:
- Fully Automatic mode. Point and shoot. For both stills and videos.
- Scenes mode. Same various scenes presets found on different smartphones and compact cameras.
- Creative mode:

Switch between PureView (Oversampling) and Full Resolution
Choose which resolutions to go for depending on the above two modes. 3MP, 5MP, 8MP for PureView. 34MP and 38MP for Full Resolution
In video mode: Three resolutions at 1080p, 720p, nHd. Four frame rates at 30FPS, 25FPS, 24FPS, 15FPS.
Set JPEG compression to Fine or Standard
Different color tones, bracketing and timer setting, as well as sharpness, saturation, and contrast sliders
Five different WB presets
Flash settings
Exposure compensation slider with live historgram!!! THIS IS HUGE!!! Even my D7000 doesn't offe this feature!
ISO manual setting ranging from 50 up to 1600 with all stops available to set!!
An option to turn the ND filer on and off enabling extra slow Shutter Speed!!!
Possibility to save three different sets of these features

Why do i get a feeling this may do better than the Lumia phones?
I know its niche, but with 41MP as a selling point this could improve Symbian sales, although im sure Elop will do all in his power to prevent it doing 'too well'.
The amount of sheer power and innovation in its camera is just incredible.

Belle is very good, but its not really as smooth as Android once you've been using it a few weeks.

I think rather than the OS, the one issue which lets this phone down is its low screen resolution. 360 pixels wide is simply not enough by todays standards and has been a major bug of mine since i bought the Satio onwards.

I also think this camera will be a little geeky for joe public to really get into it, not to mention the large hump on the back of the device.

i dont think it'll sell like hot cakes.. as the belle is not better in usability and nowhere near to android and ios.
i still dont like typing on belle keyboard. even there's no good third party keyboard.
being used to sonyericsson Camera UI, though the HW is good in nokia, the handling is bad. the poor N8 does not detect the macro shots automatically , u need to change it manually, and though u set the macro focus it always struggles to focus. and when u change focus or some other settings all the rest of the settings will be gone, so u again have to set all other settings before shooting... i really fed up in doing such things
and it will no longer remember the settings at all, everytime u start the camera u need to configure the settings. this is annoying.
and the poor 640x360 always show dull images without giving confirmation that the image is shot well with good focus. though it AMOLED.

Nokia has to offer some basic needs before going into the advance features no matter its 2mp or 41mp. dono how N808 will be .
keeping tasty food on the table with hands tied will be a non sense .
pure view being developed for five years.. i don't believe it.
