hmmm I don't have it on my P990i or W950i if you'd like to give me a couple of free copies I'll confirm the UIQ and Speed of those for you!

I'd like a copy as well (or at least a hint about where to find it - yes, I'm a lazy boy...)

That's surely no problem, it all depends on PK.

Like i said via PM Zed, give me some more time. Need to test some approved UIQ apps first before anything else. Will do it soon as i can.

i just though id say that just to try convince PK to do what you asked!
Well, let's see what he decides to let out. I have a guess that PK does not have a strict legal NDA directly with SE, as he would already break that by explicitly confirming the existence of the P5. He probably rather just have some contact and sure some personal promises about non-disclosure, which however means that he and his contact decide what info can go public. So, let's see what he says about the UIQ version and the CPU speed. RAM is not that interesting, it is quite surely 128 MB, leaving 50+ MB free.

Lazy boys go to shop.my-symbian.com or cellphonesoft.com.

Thanks, that's all right, take your time. Just that the two pieces of info I mentioned above is surely interesting to you as well.

@Falcon786

First off if you are going to shout my name at least manage to spell it correctly!!

Now as to why a Multimedia and Buisness phone can't be compared like to like i would think that is pretty obvious really as that is why Nokia designate phones either N series for Multimedia or E series for business. Much the same as SE designate K series for Cybershot or W for Walkman or even the differences between between the P, M and W also in smart phones.

As to to what's so business about the E90 compared to the N95, I suppose you mean besides the full QWERTY the huge internal screen and all the business apps and standby plug ins that E series gets that the N series doesn't.

Well as for your claim

"and please dont mention keyboard as i can type just as fast and comfortably with a normal phone keypad"

I doubt even you really believe that even if you are using T9 unless of course you are some sort of typing genius which some how i seriously doubt. Other wise why would so many users want a full qwerrty so badly if as you claim it really makes no difference? and everyone could have a smaller phone with a smaller keyboard.

As for the P5 being as you put it

" top end business and top end multimedia phone in one"

Well we will all need to wait and see about that when it's released and while at last it is a change for the better as will at last have a new processor and HSDPA so far all the spec is what has been used for well over 6 months now so in 7-8 months time will still be year old tech hardly cutting edge or class leading by any ones standards is it?

Don't get me wrong i really do hope SE manage to deliver what they promise and the P5 actually is as good as we all hope for but i definitely will not be an early adopter that's for sure not again.

Marc

I said similar things on MR about that. Thats the situation SE are in.

But at least SE are putting all these specs into one device now so its a bgi step in the right direction. VGA screen is the biggest nice thign for me. I wonder how much better watching videos will look on it?

Dogman. E90 is nice, especially the screen resolution. My only gripe with it is that navigating when browsing could have been better design.

QOUTE DOGMAN(aka dogmann- lol)

"First off if you are going to shout my name at least manage to spell it correctly!!"

Now really thats just petty MARC please grow up dont insult my spelling typo's...OR ME.(in fact you even spelt qwerty wrong in your post)

"I suppose you mean besides the full QWERTY the huge internal screen and all the business apps and standby plug ins that E series gets that the N series doesn't."

ok besides the huge screen which is obvious what apps and plug ins are you talking about specifically????

"Other wise why would so many users want a full qwerrty so badly if as you claim it really makes no difference? and everyone could have a smaller phone with a smaller keyboard."

i'm talking about myself so what others consider more useful is not relevant here.

as for the p5i i agree we cant get ahead of ourselves yet we'll have to see what else is available at the time of actual release,i just hope that release is soon as i'm definitely gonna be one of the early adoptors....

Falcon, dont´waste your time arguing with that guy...

@Zed, Pk, well, SMP running on the P5 will, right from start, prove that the expected compability of UIQ3 apps on the new "UIQ4" devices if for real...i am sure of it, but its better with a solid proof
