@ Epedemic

there's a 'CID ignoring' option that's sposed to do the trick- tho it never worked for me..it halts with a 'failed boot' something message

so im taking my phone down to one of the local stores to get that RT2002 update.. sheesh..

kabukijep: Yes i noticed the cid ignore feature... Thing is, it dosen't work on miniusb cable :/ And i cant update at my local (and only) servicecenter, cause they wont upgrade 3 branded phones... And 3 claims there is no new firmware :/

Epedem: yeah i gave up on reflashing myself- too much fussing. so i went in one of the shanty stores downtown today- they didnt have RT2T002 yet *bummer* but because my phone was dead i settled for R2JY005 (EU1 main + APAC customizations)- now when i attempted SEUS back at home, it said i had the latest software (?!?) while this is *technically* not true cos i used to have R2Gxxx/taiwan before that

i dunno if SEUS didnt find anything to update in my phone cos it's a rather odd FW pair (EU1+APAC) or is R2T002 just not yet out in SEUS-

I have flashed my K600i to R2T (prev R2G) through Total****er, all it's ok. CID number are not important.

uukk: what hardware did you need for total s*****? i dunno if it's my phone that's really screwed up, or the davinci flashing procedure is just too touchy about details..i'll kill to have that R2T002 in my phone :c this thing needs all the debugging it can get. still diggin' it tho

Did anyone note that the SE update should NOT work with the in box cable.

It requires the DCU-60 USB data cable that plugs into the bottom of the phone.
