Guess what? today I have found a dust or something else under my mac book pro’s screen. It’s really disturbing. last night there isn’t any thing. I almost had a heart-attack when I found this.

I,VE GOT DUST IN MY x6

i,ve read thru this thread and its very useful, but any chance anyone could answer the following plz!!

1. I, ve had mine about 2 months now and its from 3, should they be giving me a new one?....and how should i go about informing them?...(it was all done over the phone, will a 3 shop entertain me?)

2. Miss UK, have you had anymore dust?...and was it just a dodgy batch?....and have nokia actually stated there is a known problem?

thought it was just gonna be one of them things but now i know its a common problem i wanna sort it. (with a little help from you lot hopefully!)

cheers in advance

Heya and Welcome! Ive never dealt with 3 but I think they should asist u if u explain that its a common problem in the Nokia X6 well early batchs, When I told Vodafone they exchanged it there and then, and told me if it happened again I could have another different phone. Its been wks now and my X6 hasnt got a spec of dust in it, the build quality on the top on button doesnt look very gud it has gaps on it still but so far dust isnt getting into it! My advice would be just to speak to 3 and explain to them and see what they do

MissUK,

Would you recommend the X6? I'm thinking about getting one. I've seen reviews saying the UI is not that good which is putting me off. What is it like to use day to day?

Thanks

Well I would say its a good phone and its the same as any other Symbian phone the same interface so if you know Symbian then you will be fine and its a good phone overall. The camera is good. But I would worry about the dust issue. One of my best phones I had in the past the Samsung Jet I loved it but that too had masses of dust underneath its screen only after a week. It looked horrible. Its not acceptable in premium devices you sign into a contract for. Why cant manufacturers seal screens properly and just deal with it. Kerry how long was it before your first one had dust?
