If the more established networks are going to be using this phone then it is perhaps an indication that they have given their 3G services a lot of consideration. Hopefully networks such as Vodafone and Orange shall only release phones that are up to the job, unlike 3.

Is it just me or does the writing at the top of the phone not look as if it says 'SonyEricsson'? The capitals certainly conform to where they should be so I may very well be wrong.

the whole z1020 looks real to me but i don't think they will call it like that. the 1.3 megapixel rotational camera (you can read that in the photo) tells that it will sure have more improvements to justify a "z2020" it is for sure a sony ericsson (icons and typography on keypad are SE's, directional keys are almost like z600's) and looks very very real to me. i'm having lunch with spain sony ericsson's president and marketing director on wednesday so i might have the scoops of all new phones a bit earlier than the official presentation

Of the three new buttons, the one on the right appears to have some sort of tape icon on it, perhaps this is a memo feature or indicates video recording.
The button on the left hand side is almost certainly a video call button.
The middle button is the most mysterious of all, it appears to have something similar to a Rubik’s Cube on it, but what this symbolises I'm not sure. I would hazard a guess that it is either a menu button or perhaps a dedicated phonebook button.
I would have thought that at least one of these buttons would be a dedicated camera button, so at least one of my theories on button usage is probably wrong.

but i guess there are still some buttons on the side? i guess the camera button might be there.... it looks quite slim but then again that isn't a perfect angle to tell
i don't have a clue about the right button but my guess is:
left: video call
middle: calendar
right: voice memo
and on the side the typical se button arrangement: internet, camera, volume....
oh cmon thursday! show us the light!
