Sorry MrZippy, you're wrong.

Updating the K600i/V600 via SEUS works only with a DSS-25 Sync-Station cause it have the old connector.

DCU-60 is for new connector (K750i,W800,Z520i etc.).

If you want to flash with Davinci, you can use the T28-Servicecable and the USB-Cable were's included in the box.

Can anyone else confirm the DCU-60 does not work, I just bought one as the update site says it works with it.

I do not want to open the package if it does not work.

MrZippy: DCU-60 wont work, as it wont fit... K600 uses the old port for cable/charger.... You need a DCU-25....

Did anyone try reflashing their K608 using DaVinci with the "ignore cid" tab on? I have the same crap as Epidemic here ("3" branding, "3" menus + all the other crap) and I can't wait to get rid of it. I bought credits on Davinci but it doesn't seem as if they bother too much with the k600 models there...

eped, zippy-

the in-box miniusb can be used for flashing, as long as you just flash to the CID your phone permits (e.g., R2T002 flashes in davinci are CID49, you can't to that via miniusb, only R2J005, the last CID36 flashes available)

DSS-25 will do the trick (not DCU-25)

then again after trying the ignore CID option my K600 was left with white screen when I forced R2T (CID49) in my CID36 unit. oh well

as for the DCU-60 cable (for fastport units) i believe theyre all CID36 (K750/W800s at least). And yes, you can flash/convert K750-W800. A coworker just did it at work in less than 10 mins

So ignoring cid is possible for me then since i have a dss-25? But what do you mean leaving your phone with a white screen? I mean, I don't want that!

hi, sorry about my english. i'm new user of k600i, and i have just upgrade my k600i f/w from R2G into R2AB002. Which one is newer, R2AB or R2T?

And how you check the CID number on the phone?

If i want to use SEUS, which cable data should work? is it DCU-60 or DCU-11? As I understand that DCU-60 for fast port only (k750, W800), can it be use on K600? K600 have the same port with K700, which use cable data DCU-11.

I don't want to buy the wrong cable since in Jakarta the price range for such cable data about 25 USD.

Hi I upgraded my V600i from R2H002 this morning using seus and a dss25. The phone is now at R2AB002.
Looking at the various s/w versions the camera has gone from 2.9 to 3.3 and the video from 4.7 to 5.0 I've taken 2 pictures so far and they don't seem much different, I've not tried a video call yet.
Reception seems different though - my 2g reception seems better (i've not had an emergency calls only message all day) 3g seems bizzare though - it seems to swap to 2g even though there is (was?) 5 bars of 3g signal - weird?
The o/s doesn't seem any quicker / different.
