The Handycam series could just be integrated into the Cybershot series. That means the slider with a twist could end up being a Cybershot instead.
Seems logical, and I've no objections. Why did imaging and video have to be separated in the first place?

for the cybershot modelwe saw pics of on here not too long ago, the 2mp one, will it be released this year? Because, in order for it to be a 6233 competitor, it needs to come soon, so i think it will be released by the end of they year, maybe just before christmas.....
also, i want pics!!!!! Se must be getting really tight with their security pics wise....

Apparently in Q1, January. That's what I think it is...
I was thinking the same thing too though, if it were to be a 6233 competitor it would have to be released pretty soon.

if that pic was real, which i think it was because se-nse were told to remove it, it looked like a final design, protos usually have some little bits out of place, this looked complete, so no reason why it shouldnt be released before xmas, besides that would be good move by se to do so, give it a little market boost...

On the 1st page we have sofia as a successor to k800 and high quality video phone not necessarily handycam but cybershot. I know that its supposed to be slider based on M600 but wouldnt it be better just to merge those 2 phones into one with non-touchscreen UIQ candybar and making it as fast as k800? Maybe SE will realise that this kind of "operation" will make it a true hit and bestseller of 2007 and why do i know that it would become hit... because every SE fan awaits this kind of phone, incuding me
