Of course japanese get good stuff from SE!
sony is japanese company right?

well, bricky=japanese style..

Sony is, Sony Ericsson is not.
is 50% japanese, 50% swedish. With your thinking sweden should get special phones too...

May be because it is Sony Ericsson..
Sony comes first..

and maybe it could be different story if it was Ericsson Sony..
haha, just kidding...

But why are they implementing full-size OLED's so quickly?
I mean, don't OLED displays die faster than LCD's?

an average life of a phone in japan is between 6-18months (people will trade in as a habit, every year)
the use of OLED without lifehour-breakthrough is okay in Japan

^Trust me... Japanese aren't interested in super long lasting as they are to features and looks. As many of you know, the japanese have amazing looking phones that have features we can only dream of. And they always want the newest greatest product: thus, the purchase another one usually 9 months.

I have a friend (Chinese) trades in a phone everytime she goes to Hong Kong (which is twice a year btw)

and since japanese peoples are more inclined to features. yearning for a 10,000 times faster refresh rate than TFT is more of a concern for them than having the longest life span

anyway i would like to see that flexiOLED lcd incorporated on that country.

SE Japan = like.no.other

SE EU = no.other.likes

they are, just that they are heavily subsidized, by the expensive monthly bill for the service, it's not uncommon to have a phone bill above 100USD/month in japan, most people fall in the range of 70-80USD/month
