Swedish 3G operator 3 is offering K608. Is there any firmware customizations made to K608? I'd really hate to get a crippled phone (like what Vodafone did to the K700).

A K608 with K600 fw would be the ideal. I like the K600's UI but absolutely hate it's flush buttons...texting with it is hard work.

I have a K600i and K750 (Both on Orange). I am a heavy texter and prefer the k750i for this.

I do like the looks and feel of the K600i. And the phone is def more solid in feel and looks.

Its just a shame the the K600i doesnt have extra memory

33mb is not enough (well for me it isnt) However for a spare phone its great and the video calling is superb. Well it is if the Person im calling on the other end ever has a network (no names mentioned but i will give you 3 guesses)

The camera isnt much to right home about. 1.3mb but with the lack of auto focus and other features the K750i wins hands down and you can tell the difference in and out door.

Screen on the K600i is so much brighter even tho they are the same, but the batteries are the same and virt the menus structuer is the same as the k750i. You can even change the SMS tone to one of your own.

Hope this helps

Personally, I prefer K600i too (but the K608i branding is not as annoying as vodafone V600i) ...at least it's much for colorful with K608i

Btw, guys...how do u compare the battery life of K608i with K600i ?? I got a customer saying to me K608i seems to have a longer battery life ...

Do u agree?

I prefer the look of the V600i but would like to have it with the K600i software. A memory card slot would have been nice too.

I have the K608i, the branding is not too bad although why do operators insist on the right soft button going to their WAP site, especially when on the K608i where is a button on the side of the phone right next to this that goes to the web!

The buttons are good on the K608i, they are awful and recessed on the K600i.

At least I can use MP3/MP4 ringtones on the K608i, Vodafone normally block this on their handsets ie. the V600i.
