I had similar problems when using simple links on my page, it doesn't occured with php or other comm (IR, bluetooth). The max. size is 3k from net (but I downloaded greater images with php code), and 8k with bluetooth/IR. The other problem (error & freezing): try to lower the connection speed on your PC from 115kbps (My connection is stable at 56kbps, but I heard about 19.2 was good to another ppl).

I use IR, and pictures up to 8 kb.
With pictures over wap, they can only be 3 kb.
In your control-panel in windows, be sure to set speed to 9600 kbps. Or else the phone will freeze.
Give the pictures a short name, and they have to be gif, 256 colors or less.

Hey guys!
Hmm.. well.. i'm using ACTISYS IR sensor, which gives me only "wireless link" icon in the control panel, and there i can't change anything.. i saw on Sandra2001 that IR is using 9600kps by default.. so i don't know where else
do configure it manually.. that's the first problem..
the second is.. that through IR i can't send pics larger than 3k, about WAP, i can't even see a picture.. it's just a box with a name in it..
so i don't know what the h*ll is the problem..

Fatbastard: what's the php code? i'm using Paint shop pro 7.0 for making backgrounds and than i must decrease color depth to 16 colors, if i leave it at 256 colors it's about 8k's long, which than the phone cannot receive..
thank you

MViper, which windows version do you use? If it's ME/2000/XP, double click on the IR-icon in the taskbar. Then there should be a properties button, where you find a hardware-tab with your Actisys device listed. Can you change the settings there?
I'm using an Actisys 220+ serial converter. Works very well. But be careful: there are two IR-standrads, FIR (Fast, up to 4MBit) and SIR(Serial, up to 115kbit). You need to install the SIR drivers, if you have a choice to select these. The T68 only works with SIR!

hmm. not true.
my T68 perfectly work with 1mbs FIR (built-in notebook) - syncing is VERY fast (comparing with 115k)
