How can I copy stuffs to the memory stick? My computer says its write-protected or something like that and I have to remove the protection first. How do I do that? It's a real annoyance that I can't copy my music to my stick.

You probably used Media-Go . That locks your sd Card somehow.

I actually used an adapter(shaped like a mem card of a camera). The adapter's the one locking it?

No, its the software thats buggy.
Wipe it and format it, usually does the trick.
