It seems now that 3g is getting a much larger user base and i'm curioius, are non 3g phones are on their way out like dial up? I am starting to feel left behind with the good offers that are coming to 3g enabled phones (sky tv etc)

So I was wanting feedback, do you use a 3g phone and if so what 3G features you use the most, thanks

I don't use 3G phones and don't feel left out. Most of the extra 'features' of 3G don't really interest me, like the TV stuff, which seems overpriced and gimmicky to me, especially as you're usually never far from one and I can't see it being of much benefit except to show off to mates!

I've just renewed my 2G contract after being offered half price line rental for another year, and will probably stick with 2G for a while yet (especially as my GPRS still isn't been charged for!) until 3G prices drop and they drop the gimmicky crap for something more useful and cheap!

iuse 3g system since ca 1 year, i am on "3". very satisfied with the services, especially the fast internet ( it depends on the fone aswell of course ), i use prepeaid card, call and sms prices are ok. "3" is the best 3g operator imo, according my experiences and the datas that the "3" store manager told me. i gave a try for many fones and brands ( mainly nokia and moto, se is disappointed, next to it not much interest for it in austria ), tha fastest are moto a1000 and now nokia n70.

I just bought a V3x on 3 last friday and i am very happy with it, 3 is a great network you can check your bill on the phone by clicking a button, you get free downloads and the tariffs are cheap.
The phones are also starting to get better with time.

In my opinion, only the wide-band internet access would be useful, other services are gimmick. This message was posted from a T618

I use a K600i, though the operators in my country haven't launched 3G as yet.
