i have a 'dead phone'; can someone help me please. I flashed my k608i with firmware files from pappfer (before he removed them btw) to get rid of the 3 branding and the fact that my t-mobile sim didnt work properly cause of 3g. the flashing process went to the end but didnt complete properly!!
i thought of using flashing it again with working files but when I did this message appeared:

I'm in exactly the same situation as you.

I've tried davinci, I've tried TMS, nothing will complete the phone, I've reflashed it with cid49 files, still no go.

update:

usbsmart 7.7 does not want to know.

usbsmart 6.8 did though, set baudrate to 460800 because cid 49 is more easily bypassed at that rate, flashed with k600i r2t firmware and completed phone.

all fixed.

What do the phones say when you turn them on? You could prob. get 3 to reflash if it doesn't - if your going to be using t-mobile sim why not try find the t-mobile k608i files - yes they do sell the supposed '3' version! sorry cant help with the flashing side - but am good with theory - well i think! they dont turn on after you've ruined them with the files from pappfer.hu.

glad you fixed your phone - and opened it to its full potential - i just dont want the problem that i won't be able to get it fixed if the joystick goes on the warranty if I've flashed my v600i with k600i f/w - but cool! - wish it came with it on anyway

Bought usbsmart and cruiser 4-in-1 cables for £50 from a well known site

Logged into support, downloaded key files, re unlocked k608 and flashed r2t to it.
