Sony Ericsson is said to be working on a new model to take Motorola's slim SLVR for a race. The new model code-named "Ai" is said to be 9.4mm thin. Sony Ericsson will not officially comment on the prototype code-named Ai. This new model is said to be released early 2007.

Other than that prototype pictures have popped up on a website showing what could be one of Sony Ericsson's new thin phones. Could this be "Ai"?

It is said that this phone will be released in early 2007.

What do you guys think?
Does it look like a fake to some of you?

I think it looks real.

theres a few things that make it look fake to me...
the buttons on the right, the upper buttons done line up, they wouldnt have that staggard look. the buttons resemble t630 buttons, but alot more spaced out. and again about the upper buttons somewhat remind me of a k700 but changed a little.

but then again, it looks pretty real to me, and SE could just be re-using these ideas, and also, maybe im just not seeing the picture good enough becuase its blurry still.

time will tell

thats true. but for the most part, should be cautious about offering models whose features are obvious imitation of other popular brands. also, offer more high end phones with features that dont fall short of what is considered market standard... i bet consumers will only follow..
