Hello!

I've got some problems with the syncronization between T68 and my Palm...

I can send TO my phone but not FROM it...

For example: I can send calendernotes to the phone's calender. BUT I can't send calendernotes FROM the phone to my Palm. My Palm says "Data received in unknown format"...

Why oh why?

what exactly do you want to exchenge ??

There is special software for sending SMS and/or copying phonebook to and from the Palm.

Have a look at this post:

I didn't try to send directly something from my T68 to my Palm Vx !
Actually, when I put a new date or name into the phone, I get it into the Palm at the next sync...!!
Unfortunately, to sync the Palm Desktop with the T68, you need to buy XTNDConnect for Palm ($ 59), but it works really fine...!

XTND... What's that? Could you tell me more about it? Is that a IRDA device or a cable to connect?

Thanks!

dear Rolud:

You do not have to buy, You can try it first.

@ Erboan
You’re right, you can try it... but 30 days only and then you have to buy it...

@ snysop
To be a little bit more explicit :
In fact, you have the possibility to sync our superb T68 with Outlook, or with the Palm Desktop, exactly as easy as you sync your Palm Vx.
However, to do that, you have first to have a way to connect the T68 with your PC ! At this point, you need a cable or an IR device, like in my case, the MA-600 Infrared Adapter (see http://www.matweb-01.com/enhome.htm)
Then you have to download a software called XTNDConnect, free on the Ericsson site, but just able to sync with Outlook... or, for a sync with the Palm Desktop, by Extendesystem.com for $ 59.- (or free for 30 days / see http://www.extendedsystems.com/ESI/Products/Mobile+Data+Management+Products/PC-Based+Synchronization/default.htm) and so you’ll be ready to sync your Palm AND the T68 with the same Palm Desktop.
Works perfectly to sync to the phone all your contacts, dates (calendar) and "To do"...

Wow... Thanks alot!! I never could imagine that Ï'll be able to sync the phone with my Palm Desktop! I'll try to find this MA IR "thingie" in Sweden.

But, there's still no sollution for me if I want to send calenders directly to the Palm?

@Snysop
I tried right now...! I made a new appointment "meeting" in the T68... then I sent it to my Palm... and it works !!! (in fact, the time was 1 hour wrong... I don’t know why..?!?)
Now, if it doesn’t work with your Palm, it's maybe due to your Palm OS software version. I'm using a Palm Vx, software version 3.5.3 and the T68 with R2A !

Rolud,

I tried now aswell... and it didn't work.

I've upgraded my Palm OS to 3.5.3. But, my phone is of the first released version... Maybe that's the problem? I've planned to upgrade mine while I'm on vaccation. I cannot "live" without it...

I'll let you know if it works after the phone-upgrade! Thanks for all help!
