Hi all,

Hope someone can help.

I have a problem with my Sony Ericsson K750i which is sim free. I'M trying to put a 3 sim in but it won't accept it, just keeps saying insert sim when it's inserted!

Also my Mrs has a unlocked d500 but it won'tt work in that either.

Any ideas why and if it can be made to work in either mobile.

well the sim wont work in the d500 as the d500 is only 2g not 3g like your k800

i would change the title to a k800i instead of a k750i

try cleaning the golden contacts on the sim

Because you say K800 in your first post. And like the D500 the K750 is 2g only so a 3 sim won't work.

Oops! didnt spot that, my mistake!! meant to say k750i, so it wont work in either because they cant handle 3g is that right?
