I bought the K800i. I can't access the 3g network. I went to at&t before I bought the phone and upgraded to a 3g SIM card. Is there something I can do to the phone? I can't access any on-line videos on make a video call! PLEAS HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

first of all, have you downloaded the operator settings? you need those to enable surfing GPRS through 3G.

ice2524, have u tried 2 activate 3G from the menu (Menu - Settings - Connectivity - Mobile Networks - GSM/3G Networks - GSM and 3G)? If not, please do it and after restart your fone. Near the network strenght should appear a blue square - that`s the sign for 3G.
My K800 were allready switched so. No settings needed from operator.
A propos... Do you have 3G in your area?

I do have 3g in my area. I had a Razrv3xx and loved the 3g, but wanted the features offered by the k800i. What are operator settings? how do I do that?

just contact AT&T and ask them to send you the 3G settings profile for your phone. you do need it to be able to access online content.

Isn't it so, that the US networks use other frequencies for 3G, which the K800 doesn't have ?
Afaik, it's not officially released in the US, so there is no US version, the K790 (with EDGE instead of 3G) is for the US.
