The clip to my MW600 is broken. Does anyone know if it is possible to find spare parts to fix it my self?

hi yes.. u can very well change the battery. i once ripped off the casing and saw the internals. also i saw batteries available in ebay.com but i doubt now..

How did you manage to do that? I tried once with a MW600 that unfortunately went together with some clothes into the washing machine, but I never managed to dismantle anything else but the collar clip and the end cover on the 3.5mm jack side. I imagined that further dismatling would either require special tools or more brute force than I had the guts to apply to the device.

Anyway, the price of an MW600 nowadays is so low, (~200-300 SEK in Sweden, i.e. ~ € 20-30) that I doubt it's possible to find a replacement battery for a lower price.

Update on this: I finally found a second screw hidden behind a small sticker right below the micro USB socket. Removing that and pulling out the plastic frame around the play buttons made it very easy to slide away the casing.
Unforunately, the battery was not the problem with my unit.

BTW, I noticed that Sony has presented a re-make of the MW600. The new version now displays "SONY" on the OLED display when it is switched on, and the earpieces seem to be different than before, more alike the ones that come with MW-1. Has anyone tested this new version, and if so, are there any other improvements, like ability to show song titles and caller name when paired with an Android phone?

I see you come from Sweden. Clas Ohlson have them as a spare part.

If you would like to feel something special with that kind of voice quality which gives you more and more relax then you can go for this.

Apart from that there is no match of Sony Ericsson.
