T6 is the name of a torx screwdriver... T6 stands for the size...

you really shouldn't be opening it at all... once you have opened it, the warranty is gone... and some parts of the T68 is very sensitive, like the display for example, it's very easy to get scratches on it...
leave it at a
servicepoint if you want to change cover, yes, it will probably cost, but it can be worth it since they know what they are doing
if you decide to open it anyway... search the forums... a thread a few days ago contained detailed info about opening a T68...
