> Orange Rolls Out HD Voice for Mobiles

Thats pointless! You must both be on Orange, be in a 3G area, and must both have a HD complient phone?
Thats likely

Yeah I think Orange need to concentrate more on coverage & customer focus rather than HD voice cos their network has the best voice quality anyway. If other networks roll it out then we will see it but if they don't it's just pointless

It does help boost Orange's reputation and I'm sure it will bring more customers to their network, I think that's half the reason they chose to do it.

Hmmm, the problem is Orange has very very poor customer services with Indian call centres. Very expensive pricing bad attitude retail staff & from what I just heard recently lots of network outages. Network outages are in reverse these days for O2 so they are improving whilst Orange seem to be getting worse. Most of my family are on Orange & they keep telling me internet is always down & constant texts problems
Nice call quality is not enough I moved away from Orange to save money they are just so expensive.

They are literally such a rip off for what you get, and like you said Indian call centers, you won't get HD calls to them. Not as bad as 3 though, I had to threaten with ofcom and trading standards for my bloody PAC code?

Orange will soon be network sharing with T-Mobile, who already share their network with 3UK. So any of those network's customers will have greater 3G network coverage than ever before. Elm and Hazel and some Nokia phones are HD Voice compliant so quite a few will benefit I'd say.
