Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak founded Apple together in 1976 and the first Apple I computer was launched later the same year. After twelve years, the electrical engineer Steve Wozniak (Woz) left the company. He still owns Apple shares but are not full-time employee any more.There is no war like the iPhone - Android war. Not even XBox 360 vs PS3, OS X vs Windows 7 or Intel vs AMD beats this latest love-to-hate relationship. The former Apple founder has now added fuel to the fire when he said to
the real Dan Lyons over at Daily Beast that some things are easier to do with a Android device. Steve emphasized that iPhone 4S still is his primary phone and he thinks the iPhone 4S is the best overall smartphone. But Wozniak says Android has evolved further than iOS in some aspects. He is not very impressed with Siri any more. Voice commands on Android work better than on his iPhone. Wozniak used the Siri before Apple bought the company that had developed the voice app. After the Apple acquisition of Siri, the app does not work as well as it used to. One example of failure is when he ask a question like "What are the prime numbers greater than 87" and Siri answers with a list of prime rime or prime real estate. Another feature where Wozniak thinks Android is better is the built in navigation system.

Thats a given but I suppose its big news because its coming from out the mouth of a co-founder of Apple.I will never be part of the war between the two big guns. I think that both platforms are awesome.

As Masseur has said before Siri is in beta mode
As for differences there isn't much
Android is more customisable wallpapers (live) etc
But I see my iPhone as a more mature device

Anyway, iOS and Android are my two preferred mobile platforms but I have leaning slightly towards Android.

Yep, Android has had voice recognition built-in for a long time now, its nothing new, and it integrates well with other installed apps e.g. keyboards, Maps etc...
I had a good laugh whilest reading the above, i could just imagine many iPhone fans cringe when they see this, out of all the people, an Apple co-founder is a fan of Android
I found it interesting that he feels Android apps have an edge.
Personaly i could never own an iPhone, ive had plenty experience with my parents iPhones, i find it very limited (limited to itunes on pc/no mass storage mode, no BT file transfer, awful multitasking, cant side load anything, cant set 3rd party apps as default for certain functions etc...), boring and the lack of communication between apps a major annoyance, to me Android feels a lot more complete and functional.

Try speaktoit. That's probably the best one out there for android. And that works worldwide adequately while siri doesn't really function 100% in countries other than USA.

Contacts, no problem at all, especially between two Nokias, but up until now WP7 (7.5) doesn't do Bleutooth
file transfer (photos etc.) either.

Been using my HTC 7 Trophy for more then six months now, I can only agree, I like it very much, the Trophy and my husband's HTC Radar are smooth, fast and very stable. But every OS has its little shortcomings, and I'm realistic about those
