Okay, since you're on the roll here.
What other things the PV808 can actually do besides taking magnificent photos? Aside from the usual call and text? Is there anything "revo" with Belle?

Please...amuse me.

Unquestionable Superiority? I can only see one thing it is good at, to take pictures at good lighting. It only proves what I said before that DSLRs and CSCs with all their capabilities and quality are never threatened in the eyes of a true photographer. and Fanboys like you can enjoy trolling sites like this to spread your sacred word but with all honesty I would never ever ditch these babies

for a PureView 808

PS: someone needs to either close this thread or move it to its proper place

I've always been a die hard Ericsson/ SE/ Sony fan and this is in the wrong thread but what Guarulhos has brought up is true. Pureview 808 is not a gimmick unlike Exmor R for mobile by Sony. It is quite an impressive innovation and we should give it credit for that. And I do believe Sony doesn't currently qualify to be in this test. However, I chose SGS3 and IP4S everytime. 808 doesn't quite cut in in terms of detail for me at 8mp. Would be different if it was at full res for sure, and there were no other tests ie. macro, low light so I'd say it's pretty much inconclusive with the advantage looking to be for 808

I agree with you on that. Phone cameras will never be as good as a DSLR or Compact System Cameras but can rival a point and shoot. Anyone who says a phone camera is as good as a DSLR should have gone to Spec Savers. One of the best compact cameras I have seen was the Canon S95. When I used to have my £400 Samsung EX1 it had an ultra bright 1.8f lens and there is no way any phone could beat it on night shots. Phone cameras cannot do the proper long exposures either.
