It looks really nice Tsepz , enjoy .

Currently Note 8 is under a massive price cut (£200) here in UK , I wonder if it is because the sales have not been great . Still enjoying mine (but have exchanged the black to blue )

Thanks Aussie!

Well I guess with the S9+ coming in with new CPU, Better Camera, bigger battery and smaller design, that it may have stolen quite a bit of shine off the Note8 now.

Essentially people going for the Note8 would be enthusiasts of the series and people looking for good specs at a decent price, although even a £200 cut does not bring it down to decent levels, considering how expensive it was when it arrived.

Must say, thoroughly enjoying my Note8 on Android Oreo with the latest April 2018 Security Update that we got recently.

The phone seems to have settled well on Oreo and Battery life is about the same if not a little better.

I hate to keep harping on this, but putting 6GB RAM in this phone was Samsungs best move. I am a hardcore hardware guy, I always believe an OEM needs to put the best hardware available, and Samsung putting their 6GB LPDDR4X RAM chip in this phone has made it such a pleasure to use so far.

The Note8 reminds me of the Galaxy Note 2 in some ways, in that it has exactly the Hardware and Software it needs, its a great balance of both. The Hardware in fact is more than the phone needs, but that's what makes it great as it easily keeps up with the 2018 Flagships and should easily do so with the 2019 Flagships to as we see a slowdown in how much phones can improve year on year.

That said, I hope the Note 10 next year will bring us 256GB internal memory standard and 8GB RAM,or at least 128GB with 8GB RAM.

n UK the S9 plus is already selling with 128gb internal memory only . With 128gb internal memory, a SD card would not be a requirement anymore for me .

Before Note 10 I wonder how Note 9 will be .

My Note 8 works well with Oreo too

Yep, the S9+ is also 128GB Only here in South Africa.

I am glad Samsung made that move, and I betting the Note9 will be the same.

I just want them to bump it up to 256GB next year.

I would still have a Memory Card , the more memory the more series, movies and recorded videos I can keep.

Personally I don’t use Bixby so just upgrading the current one would not make it a big draw for me to buy the note 9. Hopping for other improvements too

Nice. Got the update yesterday afternoon tried the super slow-motion, worked very well, very smooth.
Haven't bothered with AR Emoji.
