Still the screen 📺 on Note 8 is larger in size I don't see how the size of the screeen would not affect the battery life . I guess we will see the real life reviews . Camera has amazing aperture (better than Note however it doesn't have the optical zoom which is a shame . Again I can't wait to see comparisons on the reviews

I must say their Cameras make for exciting times as both are brilliant in their own little areas, the V30 seems to he the king of video, living up to the V in it's name.

The more I watch reviews of both Note8 and V30 I get excited as it seems both Samsung and LG went all in with their very best hardware and software and have created some sweet Phablets.

This is what the V20 and Note7 should have been like late last year, but the Note7 was a bomb and the V20 was a fugly thing

Both Samsung and LG knocked it out the park with design, I really like how the V30 looks, it's a no-BS design, very simplistic and ergonomic.

Video shooting capabilities aside, the V30 looks way better than Note 8 or any S8 for that matter.

Between the V30 and Note8 design, I like both. Like the presence the Note8 has due to its square design and Infinity display, and I like the V30 for the rounded corners along with its simplicity and cleanliness of design.

Very nice phone . Battery same size as Note 8 with a smaller screen ! I wonder how good the camera really is . Also I like the look more than LG G6

I love the Quad DAC within the V30 and the slightly better secondary wide angle camera within ... but I much prefer the metal on the G6's back as well as the smaller size (device and screen). like @Tsepz_GP said on page 1 love the no-nonsense, no-gimmick design and software prowess. It's all about functionality the end user can use out of the box before tweaking and downloading additional software. LG went back to their roots this 2017 year and to be honest pulled out a proppa successor to the Nexus 4: subtle yet sexy/professional design and real world features - even if they missed something here and there of course, just like the Nexus 4.

This Christmas I may just buy the LG G6 as a travel and backup phone.

I agree with everything except that I prefer the V30 design to G6. G6 is now priced quite nicely in UK though
