I know this is a SonyEricsson site but hey, just wondering which is better. Besides I have a p800 already.
So I looked at the mobile phones section of Esato. Aside from being touchscreen and longer standbytime and talktime and the size, the P8 is pretty much like it. It's OS is Symbian OS 7 like p8 but not sure about the wap.

Here are some things that make 6600 better than P800:
built-in video recording- with sound!
with zoom in function!
guess what?! it could connect to compatible TVs to show stuff
advanced XHTML browser
40.2kbps (GPRS) 43.2kbps (HSCSD)
65,536 colors etc. etc.
32mb MMC

Though the P800 is great too touchscreen, and 12mb internal memory
and all those things. I was thinking of trading my p800 with it when it gets released because i can't sync with my pc and some other things.

So, what do you think?

P800 kid..where does it say that the 660 has the same screen size?!??! The 660 has the same screensize as the 7650.

And Q4 2003?? Ya right.. by then the P810 will be out as well anyway... and considering that both companies always delay product release... I'm guessing this will be the Q1 battle of 2004.

To compare the P800 (out for 6 months now) against a product that WILL be released by the end of the year is kind of dumb...

Nokia (or anyone for that matter) could easily make a website claiming all these advanced features. But until it exists... it's nothing but vaporware.

So far, Nokia hasn't proven any kind of technical superiority over any other electronics manufacturer (marketing and sales, yes... high technology...no)

I will admit that they do have good software engineers... while appears to have their software guys on crack or something. (Mind you, UIQ is not counted since it was developed in cooperation with Symbian)
