Update to my last review: the joystick reacts rarer and rarer.I am dissapointed, after just one year of usage.I am gonna try and replace something inside but i doubt i'd make a diff'rence.Too bad.

Thats weird. Got never problems with the joy until now. Could it be the that the plastic stick went wrong or the connections in the fone? This message was posted from a T630

I've had my SE T610 (the international version of the T616/T618) here in the Philippines since September 2004, and although I got it via a cellphone swap , I must say I'm 99% impressed with this phone! The phone's design is astounding! And the phone's features (Bluetooth, InfraRed, customizable themes, etc.) made this phone all the more desirable! Although it is not a "perfect" phone (it is a below-average RF performer), I still give this phone a "thumbs-up", because I think it's advantages outweights it's disadvantages...

Here are a few websites that contains a review of the SE T610:

Absolutely marvellous phone for its price. Have faced no problems with it yet. Wish the memory could have been better. This message was posted from a WAP device

I've got a second hand model from my cousin who originally bought the T610 in H.K, its almost 2 yrs old now and everything is fine. the joystick is still working perfectly. My biggest complaint is that when i turn it on it takes like a minute for the phone to actually work so after a mintue the phone goes wacko trying to process all my presses. Apart from that the only problem is the 2mB memory, it's kinda dumb how they only gave it 2 megs considering it has the biggest screens in its field therfore biggest photo sizes, 2 megs gives me bout 40 pics and 50 tones. Its also stupid how you can free up space by deleting 'predefined' items so im stuck with crappy ringotnes taking up scarce memory.

B.t.w to all those who say the camera is crap it actually isnt bad for a 300K, although some pictures look crap on the phones screen, it actaully coems out very clear and sharp on a comp, it actually amazed me. I guess its due to the fact of the passive matrix screen.

It's a great phone, the first of a generation of phones. See..T610 then T630 .. Heh, T610, great phone. buttons. Such as, the camera button, with the light phone model, it's easy to simply press it.

My t610 is indeed a very reliabe performer. aside from occasional joystick problems, I very much like it! Basically, I've been using this phone for 1 year and 5 months now, and it just doesnt disappoint.

True, lack of memory expansion could be an issue. But come to think of it, with its small size and great connectivity options, I think we can forgive SE for not supplying expansion slot.

I already tried using other phones (N6600, N3650), and with great respects to Nokia owners, I still find the t610 a more reliable performer.
