I know alot of people have asked about this, and heres how to do it. I just stumbled across it while i was messin with it in bed

First, Go to phone book.

2) Go to add contact

3) Type in the first name/ company etc

4) Go to the setting that you want the number to be in, (Eg),
Home, Work, Mobile and press yes.

5) Press the joystick to the left.

6) Go down to unsaved numbers.

7) Click on the number you want, and press yes

Press yes again, Then save and exit.

Hope this helps.

It's much better to set your phone to ask you about unsaved numbers.
Goto Phonebook - > 8.Choice -> 6.Ask to save numbers -> ON (translated from norwegian).

With this function ON, your phone allways ask you if you want to save new numbers.
