Hi,

I purchased a Z1010 on 3(Tre) when I was in Sweden and now I want to use it in the UK.

I bought a 3 SIM card (and the crappy phone that came with it), unlocked the Z1010 and then inserted the UK 3 card. The phone works fine for calls, texts etc, but I can't access any of the UK 3 services on the phone.

Does anyone know the settings so I can set the phone up properly?

Hope you can help

Kai

If itīs not on their site, take a day off from work and phone helpdesk

@fision

Since 3 don't have the Z1010 for sale they will probably not offer support for it. I doubt that 3 will have any settings to send you, but you could try asking them for the URL of their portal, which you could attempt to try and access from your handset.

The problem no doubt lies with the fact that because their network doesn't support the Z1010, it doesn't actually recognise your handset so to speak.

themarques has had experience of using a Z1010 on 3, you may want to pm him and ask him for some advice.

Arghhh the good old Z1010 and three's settings..right now I am working on the V800 and 3's settings and I might just have cracked it...but a little buggy..

But in the mean time your need is my command...here is the article I wrote some time back..hope it helps. I do know that the Today on 3 doesnt work anymore as 3 have removed it but when I find the V800 alternative I will post it and I am certain it will work.
