Does continous use of your phone's modem to surf the net will make it conk out in the near future or is it built as sturdy as an external modem.

Using phone modem 4 - 5 hours connected to a pc or laptop via data cable, surfing thru GPRS.

I don't think that your modem will stop working before the phone stops.I have done a lot of support for this and never heard of that kind of a problem , so keep surfin' .
