Already have FMA, but will try the update. I do have a BT dongle, just thought USB would be faster..

The USB is fast, but it needs drivers. Surprisingly, working drivers can be found on the CD that was in the box with your phone
If your CD is currently taking a sabbatical, the very same drivers can be obtained from www.sonyericsson.com (under V800 support)
