@Dr.pratikB

3 are far from the best in my experience, they may be cheap, but they provide a poor service.

3's handsets are locked and you can't access the internet from them, just 3's portal.

Payback essentially means that they will give you some money back after a certain time.

O2 may provide unlocked 3G handsets, but their coverage isn't that great.

I think a 3 handset would likely need to be flashed to allow full functionality with a non-3 SIM card.

Unlocking and flashing a handset are different things. 3 brand handsets with their own firmware, which makes it impossible to browse the rest of the internet. Their do offer good deals with lots of free minutes, but their customer service and actual network performance leave something to be desired.

Vodafone 3G are very good for the most part, however, their customer service can be somewhat sporadic.

I don't have experience of any other 3G services in the UK so I am unable to give you a definite review of them.

Orange do usually have a very high standard of service I must say, but I can't vouvh for their 3G services.

All the networks apart from 3 offer the ability to browse the internet beyond their portals. Vodafone tends to have the best range of 3G handsets in my experience.

If Im not mistaken....Orange 3G in the UK also tends to be the least economical of the 3 ...i.e.. 3, Voda & orange...with 3 being the most
