of course it's a luxury cell phone
but even if I could afford it, I wouldn't bother getting one

LukeSky, you're absolutely right.

It's like saying a Rolls would be a Volvo killer.

But at least the good thing is:
the less the amount of features, the less the risk of bugs.

How can you even compare that ugly thing with Rolls. Although it is expensive it is just a piece of shit compared with the T68

I think the White Gold Gemstone T68, selling for $20,000, would be preferable to one of those Vertu phones.

I assume it is tri-band, there is no mention of that.

Actually it does say that it works on GSM frequencies 900 / 1900 MHz, therefore making it dualband. Vertu

I would never buy this, not because of the price, but it's simply NOT practical at all, it would make holes in my trousers, 215GRAMS!!!!

No way! And I bet they'll be loads of 'imitation' ones everywhere!

Yes dual-band, but global roaming, exactly as a triple band.

triple band = GSM 900, 1800 and 1900, dual band = GSM 900 and 1900. Hardly identical

This is a luxurity item for people who can afford it.
Most people here are more impressed with the T68 specs, rather then having a mobile phone with gold plated buttons...
