Does anybody know how to change setting in the camdriver0.dat file? I want to mod it, but i'm not really sure of what any of those things really mean actually.

I've noticed this:
This is the driver from the 035:
which gives me a rough idea of what most of the lines mean, but doesn't give much description or options on how to change them.

I don't know if he is still working on this C510 though.

It's really bugging me how dark photos look like, and also how flash is much different between photo mode (brighter, stronger) and video mode (weaker) (Why SE just couldn't set it up for brighter LED in both modes in the first place??)

I must say, pictures on my ex Z750 just look so much better, composed (specially at night); mind you, the Z750 had an Aperture size of F3.0 and the C510 has F3.2.

he's not working on it anymore as he's got much better phone which camera doesn't have any of the problems that c510 has but probably he still has all the code lines and all the info that could be very useful to you if you decide to continue his work...problem was that he never had proper c510 tester so he couldn't adjust the code properly as it's different from his c702 which he had...BUT you have c510 and if you decide to make some improvements to the camdriver then i'm sure that people on this thread would be more than willing to try it

its hard to understand you...
this situation will never improve. i told you before, its not firmware/drivers. this is how the camera in c510 is build !

buy real camera, with good lens.

I want to let the shutter speed of the night scenery way adjust to 1 or 2 seconds

I think Alpha 2.0 is the best edition

It is only reached that the shortcoming is shutter speed 1/2 seconds
